SANITARYWARE-DRYING WITH A CONTINUOUS PROCESS

This technical paper has been developed on the basis of an oral presentation, which has been given at the annual meeting of the Deutsche Keramische Gesellschaft (DKG) on the 15th of March 2015 in Bayreuth, Germany. Its content describes the project of the subsequent integration of a continuous dryer for sanitary ware products in the DURAVIT Sanitärporzellan Meissen GmbH plant in Meissen, Germany. In particular the fastidious project implementation as well the innovative process engineering features, the characteristics of the control system and the resulting significant improvements of the production process shall be merited. This first sanitary ware project constitutes for LINGL an important milestone in the development of new business segments.
